Honestly, I thought this would be a great opportunity to better myself and a start of an opportunity that I will enjoy, so I thought. I really wanted to go in the school, but had obstacles thrown my way as of recently. I did the interview and this woman by Rachel Adams ask me about the last accidents within the last year. I told her and mind you there was only TWO. One was a falling object from the bed of truck (which wasn’t my fault) and the other one was ( in the rental car which was unoccupied being that it was parked and the driver at fault did a hit and run). She asked me to give her an accident report with my name on them and that’s how problems started.

The first accident with the falling object was pretty easy to obtain. Now the accident that happened while the vehicle was unoccupied led to problems because, she wanted it to state my name on the report. Had me call the police department and all that crap just for them to tell me the same-thing I was telling her, which was “MY NAME WAS NOT GONNA BE ON THE REPORT BECAUSE FOR 1 ITS A RENTAL VEHICLE WHICH DOESN'T BELONG TO ME AND 2 BEING THAT THE VEHICLE WAS UNOCCUPIED BECAUSE IT HAPPENED WHEN I WAS SLEEP IT WAS ALSO NOT GONNA BE ON THERE”. So after relaying that message now I’m hit with “I showed the placement specialist the voice mail and she said she would have to list you as a waiver”, because the PLACEMENT MANAGER needed documents stating that was my accident or the companies will not hire me. She also stated that I CAN come to school, but CANNOT help with financing (so I would have to pay out-of-pocket) or job placement, just because of that accident that I really had nothing to do with or have control over. Like it frustrates me because I did all of that just to get a cretinous dense email stating that. It’s NOT fair and I feel like I’m getting punished for something I have no control over. I JUST DON’T GET IT!!!

EDIT: So I ended up getting in and graduating. And loved all the staff and overall was a pleasant experience!!😌

Just passed my test last Friday😃
Very intense as you need to absorb a lot of informations a specially if you don’t know a lot about trucks which I didn’t .
It’s a tuff 6 weeks but it was fun as well and I leave the school with a great knowledge and good friends.
Most of the instructors are awesome and are willing to work with you to get you where you need to be.
The ones that had the most unpacked on my training were miss Eva, Fred, Sylas and Donald and I want to say Thank you for helping me !!!! They were all so informative, patient, and encouraging.. you could tell they wanted to see you succeed. The facilities were always so clean and well maintained!
