Like any environment you enter, your experience will be what you make of it. Remain positive, stay open and receptive to learning. Create your own experience and don’t base it solely on disgruntled online reviews from prior students or frustrated ones out on the pad venting their lack of self confidence. Their experience is not your experience as you are uniquely you! I’d say this process is 80% mental & 20% maneuvering and driving. It’s survival of the fittest, it’s like a gridiron. If you’re not built to keep yourself in the right frame of mind as you challenge yourself to the highest extent you may have ever been challenged before in life, then you will struggle. However, if you remain positive, OPEN, dedicated, focused, and eager to learn, then you will receive everything you need to be prepared to handle a semi and more! One of the best CDL schools in Central Florida. Took me about 4 weeks to graduate. The school is presumably owned by Werner Enterprises, a multi-billion shipping carrier. So, new student should be aware that Werner is their top recommended company to work for after graduation. Please try to ask for other sponsors (companies) and decide what best fits your goals, you'll be surprised to opportunities.

Had a great experience here and the staff was very encouraging. They want you to learn and do their best to explain backing maneuvers, driving, and etc. They are always willing to answer all your questions and they don't get upset when they have to repeat themselves because they understand we, students, are new to this. I like how they switch instructors because one instructor might teach it in a way you quickly understand. Realistically, none of the methods are wrong but like math you understand using different methods. Instructors can only do so much but you have to be motivated, determined, and willing to learn and listen even when you're not in the truck to get a better understanding of the trailer. A little tip: follow the instructors while they are instructing a driver so you can see why they tell the driver to move their steering wheel a certain direction to see where the trailer goes, when to stop and counter-steer. I graduated in October 2012 and im still in love with driving, you'll learn alot driving around Orlando. Currently I'm a car hauler now and i would like to say a big THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!! to all the instructors and staff at RoadMaster. To all my future truck drivers please do not give up on this career field, there's lots of money to be made trust me. I have seen checks of $1300.00 plus in one week, all you have to do is just stay patient and polish your craft the rest shall come your way in due time. In the second week, I felt like O my God how in the world I am going to remember all these things, then week 4 came, and everything started to making sense, from leaning Pre-Trip to Straight Back /Offset to alley dock, I learned the most by listening and watching the instructors telling other students how to fix things whenever they make a mistake or explained something to them, I asked questions a lot. all of the instructors have their own ways of teaching, but they all teach you 110% about what I came to learn, I was like a sponge, I was confident and self-assured in myself that helps a lot. Loved my experience with Roadmaster. They don't give up on you and work with you to get you your license.

The management is very strict on time and rules, and they work with you when you need help.

I have the best experiences on this school. School Manager, Edith, is tough but good. Then from all the trainers you always learn something. Darren, Charles, Mr Ben, Pablo, Slavi, Efrain and Alfredo are really good trainers with a lot of years driving.
